This is Gillespie Street, two blocks from the beachfront.The yellow building across the road, used to have an enormous wheel on the outside of it, and folk used to cue up to ride on this wheel. It was one of the most popular shopping malls in Durban during the 1980's. The wheel itself has now been dismantled. Not only has the wheel been dismantled but the name of the building has changed. But to all Durbanites, it will always remain The Wheel!.
